Was it originally equipped with Keyless Entry?
If not, look at this write-up on how to make the locks work better.
I've done this on 2 XJs with great success.
That said, I would love to add a keyless entry kit.

I have the receiver unit not t6he hand-held transmitter.
BTW - I did the electric lock upgrade (and designed a plug-in fix instead of having to cut and solder/crimp the wires- sold 1 so far). One question about the upgrade - Why doesn't my passenger window roll down from the driver's switch? Is this common with the upgrade?

Hahaha I think I'll keep the wheels and just get the new 33" tires when these run down a bit or if I get too anxious and trade. But I'm happy for your concerns on where my tires and wheels would go

Started to install a floor mat in the cargo rear seat area. The po removed the carpet and herculined the floor. I like the bedliner floor for ease of cleaning but I don't like the added noise. So I thought I would try using a mat designed to go in horse stalls. It's rubber and about 3/4 of an inch think. You can get them from tractor supply, agri supply, the big blue store, pretty much any farm supply store with equine supplies. Here is a link to tractor supply where I got mine http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/stor...at-4-ft-x-6-ft

I went to try to put in the hatch trim panel that I got at the JY a couple months ago only to realize that the one I got at the JY had been hack-jobbed into the JY Jeep I got it from and won't go into mine without me hack-jobbing it some more. Maybe I will do that later...
Failing at that, I just cleaned all the tools and junk that was in the hatch in an effort to make my Heep look a bit less ghetto but it is going to require a whole lot more than that to get there. G H E T T O! lol

Yes it does. Not by half, but certainly a noticeable difference. The hardest thing about it was getting all the trimming right where it goes under the backseat. Had to cut some holes in it where the seat belts mount to the floor and had to cut more in different spots to make it around the seat brackets. I would do it again and it's just as easy to clean as before.

Not today but yesterday, I changed the transmission fluid in my '01 Sport. Planned on changing the fluid in the transfer case but couldn't loosen the drain and fill plugs. Hit them with a wire brush and some PB Blaster. I'll try again in a day or so and maybe use a bigger wrench.
