Its Michigan that salts the roads like its a stuffed mashed potato... So even with the difficult taxes, it was always worth buying cars from the the way way north

Just finished up Oil Pan Gasket Take 2. Also, did a little poking around after a vacuum leak, and I'm not sure if I found it. If it has something to do with the line that runs from the heater control valve into the mysterious area behind the dash? Well, I'm kinda okay with heat only coming through the defroster this winter, because at least it's heat.

Eliminate the heater control valve and plug it's vacuum source. Then relocate the vacuum storage canister to the engine bay and eliminate all the useless vacuum piping.

Cruiser: I think you told me to do this before. And I just might, because that heater control valve is an upsettingly fragile piece of plastic.

I'm putting it on the list, after 'make rear wiper go' and 'make rear washer fluid stop shooting straight out'.

Weirdly enough, that last one? The day I discovered that it was a problem, a perfectly intact bezel appeared in my passenger seat. Like some magic Jeep fairy decided to mess with me.

I put one in the Comanche when I swapped to open cooling, and I had no problem. It was new, though, and I would've skipped it if I'd known I could

CORRECT. They have a nasty habit of exploding at any time. Who needs that? All you guys carry enough coolant and parts to fix that along the road?

Better yet, coil up the extra piping and keep it. That stuff can come in handy.

Nope..................I am keeping mine................If it breaks, I'll get a new one.

I like the idea that it shuts off the flow of hot coolant to the inside of the cab when it's hot outside, and I run the A/C.................
