Yeah they suck. I wasn't able to get there today, so I'll chat with them next week. Just going to ask for the endcap hardware and those washers back and I'll fix it myself. If you want something done right, gotta do it yourself.

Replaced my alternator. It was smooth sailing until that bottom bolt. That thing put up a real fight. Especially hard with the front factory skid plate, there's like no way to get at it from underneath.

That skid plate is the first thing that comes off any time I'm working near the front end.

I was minutes away from taking it off but decided to give that bottom bolt one more go. Thankfully it came loose.

Right tools alwsys make a BIG DIFFERENCE. Especially when it vomes to working on suspionsion and springs. I hate seeing people take torches to coil springs to change them out. So not necessary asvwell as dangerous and you take a good chance of srewing up other important parts.

I had my "well this happened!" today...

What did you do to your Cherokee today?-image-1708759126.jpg

Nothing like having your rear tire pass you on the left! Only damage assessed so far is the studs on the wheel spacer were tweaked in just enough not to remount. The inside of the rim was chewed up a little but I can live with it. Now I need to replace the studs and see what the extent of the damage was on the drum.

THEN.... After I removed the wheel spacer I remounted the wheel and went to start it back up and... Battery was dead!!!! Couldn't get it to jump off so I pushed it 1/2 a block out of the main street into a parking lot so I could continue working on it safely.
