Put in a new exhaust manifold with flex pipes, and finally installed my 784 injectors!

Gave the jeep it's last oil change before 300k, re-installed my front driveshaft, and topped up my diff fluid.

Also found (one of) my exhaust header cracks

Modified my RuffStuff coil-link brackets (had to move the coil buckets a bit inboard), assembled the brackets, and tacked them to my waggy front.

Today felt mostly like a failure. I decided not to work on the body wire for the rear hatch until after the holidays. Same thing for the track bar axle side bushing, but because I either want more time or better tools to remove and install the bushings, and I'm also going to wait until I have the body side tie rod end for it and take the track bar out completely and paint it. Then I tried to remove a fender flare retainer so I could reinstall the flare, only to find out that my 8mm wrenches disappeared in the move. I ordered an 8mm deep socket to use instead, but that won't be here until Friday.

It wasn't a complete waste though. I POR-15'd and painted my rear wheels. So at least tomorrow I'll be able to reinstall my bumper and rear wheels and be able to drive again.

Somewhat related is a usb charging-only cable I got for my old Nuvi 260 from onetruegen_com on ebay. I bought a cable, but instead of staying in charging mode, it went into data mode, so I couldn't charge and navigate at the same time. I let him know, and he researched and found that the wiring for the Nuvi is different, and he made me a new cable and shipped it out to me. That's some of the best service I've had, if not the best, which is even more notable since it only costs a few dollars and he could have just refunded me instead of going to the effort to make sure I got the charging cable I wanted.

Not really a Cherokee project even though it is, but I finally got around to finishing a little decor project in my office at work.

Some Cherokee magazine ads from the 80's and cheap Ikea frames... I'm pretty happy with the results.

That is AWESOME! Nice collection, too!

Also lol @ the Fluke poster showing 802.11 channels. Real-world spectrum analysis in 2.4 GHz is more like a giant rectangle!
