Default RFID solution to my FOB

POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO MY WRISTBAND IDEA.....and avoid all sharks chomping off my wrist and driving off with my jeep which would suck .

I found a solution and if it works it will only cost 12 dollars. I bought a RFID(radio frequency identification ) key pouch. The key fobs fit perfect in these and you car does not read that its in the car which is one of the problems.
SO the fob has a Jeep key (metal key for the door ) inside that i separate from the fob with a easy click of a switch. I put the key in the RFID pouch
and lock my doors normal.

The problem I was having is when I was trying to lock my FOB in my jeep (taking the metal key with me) the Jeep would HONK 3 times alerting me that Im leaving my FOB inside . I get the redundancy here but the HONKING is too much for me to deal with and also when I return the alarm sounds once as a caution. Just too much and Im not sure Jeep thought of all this.

Ok my hope is when i put the Key Fob in the pouch the jeep does not detect my fob and there for will not sound alarms . When i get in ill pull the fob from the pouch and connect the metal key and fob and drive normal.

anyone get this?

Ok all you Peeps have been entertaining if nothing else. Roninofako totally sorry about your XJ, hard t beat a story like that..except for the shark story comment someone made some posts ago.

SO THIS WORKED!!! For all you KEY FOBERS OUT THERE ....NOW HEAR THIS:

Had to yell that out in case you guys are listening to ***** Nelson or something.
Well this is what I learned as I took a long journey into the darkside of the Interstellar web world!
I mean after calling Jeep asking how to stop my cherokee from honking every time i left my key fob safely locked in my Jeep and taking the metal key with me.
No good answer, I asked you guys and I got some funny *** stories out of you
thats about it..( really you guys rock as much as a barrel O'Monkeys on MDMA....google FYI)

Seriously now, so I went from possibly buying the HitchVault @75 donuts to inventing the Waterproof wristband key not yet priced(im sure it would of cost more then Roninofako's DIY beadlocks! just saying.

What i found was THIS!

http://www.idstronghold.com/8002-RFI...Fob-Pocket.asp

I cant say enough! so this works and I spent a whopping 12 clams!
IDSTRONGHOLD.COM got it sent in 4 days .

I leave my key in the pouch and take my metal key with me and it acts like I have
an oldschool system like TINEYTRAX78! See Tineytrax78 now i can take my key and go....or when im not in adventure mode and got my babe under my wing and shes needing to slip in the the trailhawk for a ride (hey get your mind back to my story)
I can tap the key fob on the auto start and have it purring from a distance

Ok now please make something really funny out of this else it just wont make me visit this place again.

Im stoked and want to plug in WWW.IDSTRONGHOLD.COM one more time!

Happy holidays NOW GO GET DIRTY!....i mean your Jeeps!

Default currency converter for JeepersCreepers

This system is in your Jeep manual, good luck finding it though -Unless you consume 4 Fosters Lager Aussie size cans then squint while you read currency converter for JeepersCreepers.

ok translation

75 Dunuts= 20 clams divided by 2 +5clams extra total in Jeepers Creepers is US dollars $75.00 or 75 Jeepers Creepers

12 Clams = 6 donuts divided by 2 total in US dollars is $12.00 or 12 JeepersCreepers.

I was looking or an emoji that shows : i wish i never joined this forum,
this is the best i could find ;(

I think this is a pretty neat ingenious idea. Why bash the guy for doing his own research for an idea that he had?

To be clear, it wasn't my XJ, just someone out here in Socal, LOL

And my beadlocks really weren't that expensive, only have about $400 in 'em, LMAO
