neither of them show what one of the numbers on mine, not the check digit either.

i have an r for number 5, the transfer case. not on that jeepfans and for sure not on the universal decoder.

They responded to mine the next day but its sad they don't think their vehicles will be on the road after 20 years. I can call bmw of north america anytime and find out anything on any bmw I have ever had. I ran the history on my dad's 79 euro 635csi and they told me what it came with

Not really a vote of confidence from the manufactures, is it. (That is sad!) Reply to their e-mail, Asking if they expect any of their vehicles to last more than twenty years. Because your looking to buy new. Doesn't Chevy have a commercial highlighting the longevity of their trucks. (showing trucks with like 400k) Maybe after I get mine fully restored, I'll send them a picture. (See if they want to buy it back) A year ago on E- bay, I saw '91 Florida XJ, just exactly like mine (with 32,000 miles, garage kept.) that sold for $8,500. Mine's at 67k right now.

Last time I looked it a KBB for mine, (at 67k) listed for $2500.00. Mostly because of it being a Limited.

this comanche will probably be for sale for a while. i bought the one i used to own for 300 bucks and it ran great. only the ac didn't work. i would buy the one on craigslist if he took alot less because its the 4.0. mine was a 2.5 and that is why i got rid of it, that and only two people fit in mine as i swapped a maroon set of buckets from a cherokee into mine to match the rest of hte interior. the only thing i don't like on this one on craigslist is its a column shift instead of a center console
