I ordered the River Raider mount today.

I'm unhappy that I have to move my spare tire to make it fit though.

My High Lift jack is mounted in the same place as the River Raider mount, but I used a couple of bolts with flat heads, a couple of nuts, some wing nuts, and washers.

Just pulled the seat cover off, moved the foam out of the way, and ran the two bolts
through the steel seat back installed nuts to hold the bolts in place, slid the foam back into place and lined up the cover with the bolts and made small x cuts and reinstalled the cover with the bolts sticking out.

Put the jack on the two bolts and installed washer and wing nuts.
Done! works great.

That is a great solution. I think that might even be a better approach than the River Raider set up because with your approach, the Hi Lift is supported initially by the fixed bolts and then you simply tighten the wingnuts or whatever you are using. I wish I had thought of that.

I've got two with me at all times, a 48" that I bought for my old yj and then the 60" I had to get cause the 48" was kinda short after I installed my 4.5" lift and 33's. The 48" is under the back seat and the 60" I jerryrigged a mount using the factory roof rack, I drilled a 5/8" hole in each bar bout 5" from the end of the bar on the drivers side, I then slid 1/2" by 3" bolts upwards through the holes, the bolts slide right through the holes on the jack and its held in place by a washer and wing nut on both bolts, on the rear bolt I drilled a hole just big enough to fit a small pad lock through above the wing nut so I don't have to worry bout my jack walking off

Maybe get the 'wheel-lift attachment' for the 48". When lifting from the bumper or sliders you have to lift higher and further and keep lifting until the suspension travel is used up.

I keep the bar on the rear hitch-bumper or roof rack. Handle along side of driver seat. Mechanism and foot is kept out of the salt-air and sand, under rear seat.
I have a hard case for it but it looks too much like an assault rifle.lol Living on federal land, I would rather not have the U.S. Park Service jump to conclusions and confront me with shotguns that they carry between the front seats.

Where did you find that Jack Guard Case at? Would it fit my 60" if the end stuck out?

Yes, designed to fit the 60" by cutting off the tip of case.
Quadratec has them, maybe CSE offroad. And 4wd.com may carry them and often has free shipping.
I have tried to sell mine for $30 because I do not use it. But there are no local jeepers to be interested.
An option with the case are stainless straps, but are pricey in my opinion.
