Better head over to Pirate4x4 and check the reviews for PORC.

I've done some research and I'm getting both good and bad reviews, more good though. What are some inputs on IRO?

Are there any forums that haven't banned PORC?

on mine the past yr and a half. Well-made, relatively inexpensive, been in business for decades and it has performed flawlessly. One of the most practical mods I've ever done.

Um... SO im told to get a SYE for lifts over 4.5. I'm riding a 90 xj. About to put in a Chrysler 8.25. Also I'm told to get a drive shaft...

Can I pull something from the JY?

Should I convert to a cv joint? how?

Do I need additional components? I just need someone to tell me exactly what I need for a 5" lift as far as the SYE and shaft go.

get your sye and grab a front driveshaft from an automatic cherokee.
you will use this in place of the rear driveshaft.
worst case scenario, you may have to get the driveshaft shortened. any driveline shop will do that.

or you can purchase a custom driveshaft from tom woods.

Better than shims, but you'll need to weld them on...

Yea PORC is terrible. I would never order from them again... Neither would most here: http://www.jeepreviews.com/where-to-...ffroad-center/

My RR output yoke wasn't machined properly and gave me vibes throughout rpm range. Bought a JB Conversions hi clearance yoke. Problem solved.

My AA sye is sitting, has been sitting on the shelf for way too long. I do have some lift but not enough to cause the d/s to slip. But I'm looking fwd to installing regardless, better safe than sorry for the mud hole.
