I dont think anyone has done it, but I wanted to see if a pair or wrangler headlights would fit into the stock location. I'd be worried that the Hella's and such would be too bright for using on a daily driver. You could always aim them lower to eliminate glare but then your killing the pattern.

Its fairly simple.
I took a hella 700 FF housing and dremel'ed out the hole for the bulb so a 9003 bulb could fit. Since the actual bulb sits further away from the back of the housing, the light isnt as bright. You can simply add a reflector to the inside to make the bulb illuminate back towards the housing and shine outwards.
take your original lights out, take lexan and cut new signal mounts, and brace the mounting point for your hella with steel to avoid them from shaking during normal driving. Next time i do one ill do step by step write up and offer extra signal pieces.

Hey all, first post and figured I'd share my Round headlights.
The first day I brought her home
and after a few months
then I got the round headlight itch so I started cutting and adding jeep TJ headlight assemblys !
I still have to finish the bezels that go around the headlights to clean up everything
