Rare find 95 GC 10,000 miles
Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right section but my father in law has a 95 GC with v8, loaded and only has 10,000 original miles. It's pretty much mint, just been sitting in an airplane hangar in New Mexico (it's now in west Texas) was driven around 5 times/year by an older couple. He wants to sell it and was asking me to help but we have no idea what to ask for it since I can't find anything to compare it to with that low of an odometer.
What do you guys think he should ask?
Thanks for the help.

Wow, that is a tough one, and I would have no idea. I would love to have it though! I bought a brand new '94 with the 5.2 and loved that thing.

Was the service schedule still maintained? A vehicle that age with miles that low is almost as bad as one with high miles. Belts, gaskets, and seals dry rot when not being used. The 95 GC isn't a collectible vehicle by any means, doubt it's going to attract any collectors.
Not sure what you guys should ask. Might find someone in the rust belt that would jump on a mint 95.
Maybe just find the cleanest example that's for sale locally and add 20% to the price?? I'm really not much help am I ?

You gotta replace those tires. Seriously. Tires harden dramatically over time. Those tires, while not being dry rotted, are still very dangerous.
But with that being said, I'd put in on EBay first with a ridiculous minimum. Like 18k. See if someone bites. Then probably follow the blue book + 20% like suggested before. Good luck selling.
Can we see some pics?

Yeah, I'm told original tires and they match the original spare. It's not being driven and he'll replace the tires if he doesn't sell it. Huh, I figured it go for more than $6k but I guess not.
Thanks for the replies.
