Default Is a 6.5 inch lift legal in ma?

THe thought never even crossed my mind will I even pass inspection with my 6.5 inch lift on my xj in mass?

dont know if this helps. but google is a pretty good place to look
heres what I found with one search

Massachusetts and Utah
Maximum Lift = Wheelbase times Wheel Track (Width), divided by 2200.

I live in mass and i doubt itl pass at a normal shop. Go to a truck repair place that does inspections. They tend to be much more leanant with lifts. Many of of friends with lifted vehicles do that.

Wow, that sucks. Says you can only have a 3" lift...

But an F-250 can have 10"? Something about that law doesn't seem fair.

swapping your axles to much bigger ones so your wheelbase is well, wider.

Go post in your wheeling neighbor hood. You will prob have better luck there and not have people guessing for you that don't live in the state or even close to it

not yet but soon. havent had my jeep very long. its been too dam cold to fix my coils n shocks. still need to order my lift too. basically stock right now
