hey yall i have a 1989 cherokee it has a 4.5 rough country lift about to upgrade to 6.5 in rustys on 35 in tires ive mde the front and rear bumpers but looking to add some more armor to it ive been thinking about trying to make custom tube fenders front and rear since ive alreay cut them out and i wanna tie the front and rear fener flares into rocker guards has anyone seen this done or done it any ideas would be greatly apprtiated

Hey, really like that truck. Nice trim of lowers behind the rear tires. Saw another thread on fellas uncle installing rocker bars, he used heavy wall hollow structural tube (think it was 2 x 6), he used the suface sticking out as an anchor point for the tube fenders. Sorry I don't know specific the thread but saw it here last week.

thanks man its a work in progress im in the national guard and ive been gone for a few monthes and stll got a month to go cant wait to get back home and get goin on it agien i have som chassie tubing at the house i wa planning on using for the tube fenders but i was trying to figure out a good way to beef the fenders up to becouse after i cut them out there real flimsy
