I was fed up with the whole situation. I just got off the phone with them this morning and they were helpful and said they'd ship it two day air without me even asking. They did say this happened quite often with leaf spring due to the label falling off the leaf spring during shipping as I suspected.. I will use Morris again.

I to have had issues with Morris4x4 and UPS in combination. My lift arrived 2 weeks late and missing parts. About 3 months later, i ordered some engine parts.....wrong parts were sent. Customer service was terrible. Needless to say, i dont shop with them anymore.

Ok, im just going to put this out there. I am good friends with the staff and they know me well there. I live not even 20 min from their store. If anyone here has an issue with them, please feel free to PM me and i will personally and gladly look into it for you as i have done for a few already. Sometimes things get lost in translation and orders and yes, i jave caught some things that were listed as the wrong part number. But after explaining to them, they have always fixed it and made right as best they could. Lets keep things civil and my offer stands if needed. Us staff here try our best to help keep peace and civility between members and vendors for a more enjoyable site. So if any problem exists, please let us know. Its what we are here for. Thank you.

Ups can go die in a fire.
One time, they left a ~$10000 order of network hardware just sitting on a loafing bay dock behind one of my clients offices.
Looked up the tracking which said it was delivered, wandered around the building, and about blew up when I realized it was sitting unattended with low income housing literally everywhere in the neighborhood
Not to mention lots of lost packages over the years, which I'm less mad about because they ship like 100000 packages a day and I'm sure it gets confusing

i ordered two RE leaf springs, from two different amazon vendors (long story for another time).
first was shipped UPS and the second via Purolator (a canadian courrier company)
the one from UPS came in around 5 days (no complaints there, I was in no hurry) but like you said, some paint was chipped and the clamps were bent, like if they dropped it.
the purolator one came in 3 days and the finish was A1, clamps were straight and customer service was more than quick (had to go pick it up after work)
unless there is no other choice, I try to avoid ups like the plague

I have had great success with both Morris and UPS.....i know my drive by name and he knows me.....I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon so he usually stops by my house and average of 3 times a week. I love ordering from Morris since they are close to GA so my stuff will get delivered fast and without having to pay taxes.

Yea my local UPS guy is awesome. I order stuff all the time. The Morris employee who was very helpful today, stated the issue was most likely that the leaf spring label fell off, twice. LOL. She stated this is a reoccurring issue with them. Hopefully I'll have my spring in a couple of days via fed ex.

Morris didn't hesitate to help me today and resend the part. They did state that they've had issues with leaf springs specifically being lost. The employee stated it was probably due to the label coming off since the spring is not packaged, which I thought may be the issued after looking at the beat up spring that did arrive.. I would think if this was a reoccurring problem that Morris would find a different way of securing the label. I've received springs before wrapped in plastic wrap. This seems like an inexpensive way to somewhat protect the part and better secure the label. This is why I was irritated with both Morris and UPS but thanks for your input.

I will say this...I have rarely had a problem with UPS. FedEx, and USPS however is a different story.
Sounds to me like the local UPS that deals with Morris is dropping the ball.
I know it sucks, and is a pain to deal with, but every time you start a complaint with most of these carriers, it starts the fingers pointing. Eventually it trickles down to where the problem area lies.
Keep on the carriers, make sure you get it resolved. Yes, Morris may have shipped again, with different options, but don't let the other complaints just go away. Trust me, those guys won't be in business long at that location if things like this keep happening.
Problem is 99% of these things go just fine...but that 1% sucks, LOL

Also, FWIW I ordered a set of leafs, RE 4.5" lift, through a former vendor here. Got them with 0 issues. Through UPS. It can be done, LOL

I had the same thing happen when I ordered my 3" Zone Lift from Morris. I got home from work that day to find only one leaf spring sitting on my front porch. I immediately jumped on the phone with Morris and told them I was missing a leaf spring. We had a good laugh and they said one would be shipped the next day. A couple days later it showed up. It helps I only live a couple states away and was just collecting parts at the time (still collecting parts actually lol). Best of luck to you and your install.

I'm 33 and been buying stuff online for years,I have had good and bad luck with ups fedex and even the post office. For a while i had a fat lazy women ups driver that wouldn't knock on my door she sat in the road blowing her horn then left the we missed you notes,After 2 or 3 times i had to go pick up myself.I kinda collect coins and had a old penny i bought on ebay go missing at the post office. The seller i used many times he packaged everything right.I mean maybe one out of 50 things i ordered i had problems with and all was on the shipping company.

One point I might add is its the manufacture who decides on how their products are packaged, not all that many vendors box up their leaf springs. I did receive a set one time that was packaged but the box was torn open on the end and it looked like it had been ran over by a fork lift.
Oh yes then the day the UPS truck backed into my driveway instead of using the circle drive just beyond where all our trucks and trailers turn around and he backed into the hip roof guttering even left brown paint.
