Default Made it to 300000 miles

Finally made it. Still going "strong". Just thought I'd share...

Still looks pretty decent too...

I've had it for a year and put about 40,000 on it. I was told that it was owned by a mechanic . Seems to have been pretty well maintained.
The CL ad said "high highway miles". All the evidence makes me believe that.. Door hinges are tight, clutch and brake pedal not to worn. Drivers side window crank and seat are toast. Headliner on drivers side completely saturated with cigarette smoke (I removed it).. Somebody also did a jumper on the headlight switch so it could have the headlights on without having the running/tail lights on, for daytime running/safety lights i'm assuming. (I undid that, no need for it).

Engine, trans and rear end all seem to show signs of the high miles, but i dont know for sure if they have been rebuilt or replaced.

Its a 2wd with a decent body, so i believe its had a fairly easy life. I dont do any hardcore wheelin in it. Mainly just a vehicle to get me to work (100 miles a day) my fishin holes, hunting spots, and campsites. Basicly the places my wifes Kia cant go.

Since i've had it, i've replaced the muffler and cat, starter, front pads and rotors, headlight switch, TPS, headlights, and a few other small things like tune up/maintenance items.

Wish i knew more history on it, but that's about it.

Sweet. I have around 233,000 on mine right now and I don't doubt it will make it to 300k as long as I keep taking care of her.
Congrats, now on to 400k
