So I need some help. I have had this knocking noise for over a year now. It happens first start up of the jeep for atleast a min or 2 plus it will make it when I turn the steering wheel in park and it vanish if I put the wheel in certain spots???

Sounds like lifters.

I have the exact same thing. They can get dirty and worn out and will eventually need to be replaced.

It drives fine and the noise goes away if I'm driving. Or after them couple mins

Oh also I forgot to say that when the ac is on and the clutch starts spinning the noise will come back till clutch stops. I replaced water pump idler Ps pump and the alt.

Question, does it have a chain like sound that comes and goes ?
