lifted xj pictures next to owners
i want to add a lift to my xj but the wife is only 5foot 2inches. lets get a picture tread of lifted xjs next to their owners. I was thinking a 2 or 3 inch lift with 30 or 31 inch tires.
just trying to compare what it might be like for her to get in with it lifted.

No pictures with people next to it. Wife to be is just under 5' and has no trouble getting in and out of a 3" lifted Cherokee with 31's.
It's really not that high.
Actually her JK is lifted 2.5" and has 35's and she manages to get in and out of that fine too. Guess it all depends on how bad they want to get in.
Her youngest son (8 year old) is only about 4' tall and he gets in and out of both like nobody's business.
Here are both rigs.

ohh yeah i forgot to mention she has a 5mm bulged disc in her back. I thought if she had to jump up to get in it would be a potential problem.

A 235/75R15 has an overall diameter of 29"
That would make your answer roughly 2" in diameter, but as that is diameter and half of that is above the axle centerline, this will "lift" your Jeep an inch

My wife is 5'1" and she loves my Jeep with 4.5" and 31's. Maybe I can trick her into standing next to it for a pic tommarow. a bit of perspective, it's a small hop for her to get in, but my roof line is exactly level with a stock dodge ram's roof.

Although it depends on the manufacturer, most 235's will be around 28"-29". 31's seem to range anywhere from 30"- 32". I know it doesn't make any sense. You'd think that they'd all be the same size as the numbers on the sidewall would indicate, but they're not for some reason.

better luck next time. Looks to me like you have 30x9.50s on 3" of lift with a sagging rear AAL

I don't have pics, but I've got a 3.5" w/ 31's (moving to 33's) and my wife is 5'6" and she hates getting into the rig (My wife has had a disc repair in her neck w/ 3, each knee, knee ops)...I have been, and I suggest that you do to, is look for step downs/ups. I have a two door and unless I fab my own, I can't seem to find the right ones...If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.
