Total cost for masking tape and paint - $6.50
Total time - Less than 2 hours
Outcome - Some fantastic looking bumpers and plastic trim.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. They don't really do it justice. All of plastic on my 01 XJ was starting to get grayish-blue fade spots. Just a half a can of Krylon Fusion made a world of difference. 90% of the total time was spent making sure everything was taped off really well. The only prep was two rinses with just water and a good rubdown with a towel.

I totally recommend this to anyone wanting to get rid of their faded plastic on the cheap.

I'll grab some better pictures at work tomorrow. I have a 10.0 megapixel Sony camera there.

A day later after everything has completely dried, I can't believe how good it looks. Best 6 bucks I've ever spent.

To other people who have used the Krylon Fusion, how long before you took your XJ to the car wash?
