I once found 3K worth of poorly made counterfeit bills in the sagging headliner of an old Chevy Corsica that came from NYC.
No I did not try to pass them. The serial numbers were all identical, the watermark in the bill looked like it was winking at me, and the ink was rubbing off on my hands. The funny part was that the paper it was printed on would pass the test of the counterfeit detection markers so i guess they used good paper but got lazy with the rest of the process! I laminated a few as a souvineir after writing "counterfeit" on them and shredded the rest before I ended up getting caught with them.
Other than that i once found 10 bucks in singles in the glove box of an early 90's VW golf. Junkyards around here are pricey and usually picked clean by the staff before the public can even look at the cars.

Pair of big vise grips, test light and a complete radiator pressure tester still in the box! All by Mac Tools. So after that anytime i go to the junk yard, any vehicle i take parts off of i usually search through the inside of em for goodies. Also a junk yard is the perfect place to load up on free fuses and relays.

Haha, I just grabbed a pocket full of fuses yesterday. A better back seat and some molding as well.
