Cory Shell, the guy that spotted for Brent at TTC, has a flat fender jeep with front and rear Dana 60s set up for rear steer. It is one of the best rock crawlers I've ever watched. ( that isn't a buggy )
when i saw Brents rig i was appaled at how fast he navigated some obsticals with 4 wheel steer. It was amazing. You have any videos or links to see some more of brents rig in action?

Anyway back to the op's question. what would it take to make rear steer?

I have a video we took in Moab that has some footage of both Brent's an d Cory's rear steer rigs. Problem is I have no idea of how to cut that video out or how to post it on here afterwards.

As to what it would take to make rear steer, I sort of understand how it works but I'm not an expert so I will not tell anybody what it will take for rear steer. I know you need an axle set up that steers, I know you'll need a high volume high pressure power steering pump, and an orbital valve, and hydraulic rams.

Yeah that would really screw me up. I can barely keep track of what my front tires are doing sometimes

I'm sure there is a learning curve involved, but they aren't using rear steer when they are cruising at 30 MPH. Mostly going about 1-4 MPH.
