Four wheel drive XJ...
I needed transportation fast to replace my current vehicle and had to settle for a two wheel drive XJ, but, I have been fixing it up so if I ever do get a 4x4 XJ I will already know quite a bit of what to replace and how to fix things.

Do yourself a favor and throw that wire it comes with away. Trust me. Buy wire and use it. I went through a whole roll of the stuff it comes with and had bad results and lots of popping. Changed my wire and my welds are cleaner and no more popping. You can feel the difference. Trust me

I went to Home Depot and bought Lincoln wire, but I figured I would learn using the crappy wire so I didn't waste the better stuff.

Convert that bieotch! There is plenty of info on here on how to do it. Buy you a spare junker and swap in the front drive train.

Running 1970 Challenger when it was offered to me for $500 back in the mid-90s. Damn things are worth their weight in gold now.

Ouch twisted, a similar story.
A red 1969 Mach 1 Mustang in 1999, was seventeen had just got my license and my Cherokee. Still think about that car everytime I drive to the hardware store.

Daily driver or not. Buy a junk Cherokee, spend a weekend swapping, it'll take you, your buddies and some beer, or soda depending on how old you are, then sell the rest of the junk cherokee
