Yeah I should have gone that route probably but I've already laid insulation down and the carpet came out black like it should this time so... Guess that will have to wait till next time. Thanks for letting us know though... Probably should have looked first guess you learn the hard way sometimes...

I don't think I could use that carpet you linked anyway, it's says 84-96. But that brings up a question are pre 97 and post 97 carpets different?

Good question. On the 97+ there was some noise-reduction and frame/body strengthening. Maybe the floorpan is different. Never heard it mentioned what the difference would be regarding the carpet.

Is it necessary to wash my carpet out with clean water before putting it back in? Or would it be fine to just put back in.... Just getting tired of no carpet so I want it in as soon as I can get it back in without screwing up....

OEM carpet will be a much better fit vs aftermarket..

Let the carpet dry completely then rinse.
