Default Space under hood

I did a cowl intake and now have an empty space where my air filter box used to be. What suggestions or ideas do people have for that space? Or what have you done or seen done with it? 2000 XJ

Thanks.

I mounted a small plastic tool box in my gmc plow truck, it had a spot for the second battery, but I just put extra battery terminals and some electrical repair parts in it for those 2am issues that would occur after 12 hours of pushing snow

great minds think alike. I put a metal 16" toolbox in the engine bay on my Ford F-250. Cause ya know how often fords break down. Lol

Air compressor?

I once saw a Ford pickup with a couple of train air horns shoehorned into the engine compartment. Loud!

I'll probably put a second battery there in mine, but not too long ago I got a great deal on one of these and have been tempted to put that there instead:

I dunno. Maybe the welder will end up in one of the rear quarter panels.

For those who aren't familiar with that welder, it's a stick welder by itself, but it is also made to power the Ready Welder II MIG gun:

One of these days I'll find a deal on that to go with it.

I'd put an ARB mini compressor in there to drive the locking diffs I'd put in the axle housings.

throw an ammo can in there and bolt it down (using RTV on the bolts).

Waterproof storage for stuff like fuses, tools, etc.
