Tell you what op. I'll be in Texas in about a year. Dfw to be exact. Come find me. I'll have my jeep behind a 40' conversion motor home. Should be easy to spot me after Moab.

Yup 3 strikes he should have been out!

2wd can be decent if you do it right. My XJ is 2wd (couldnt pass it up, 01 with 79k at the time for $2000) But ive got 5 inch lift with 33 inch Mickey Thompson atz's and a locking diff. She handles way better than most folk think. The locker is a must though if you want to go anywhere in 2wd.
Even the snow storm we had i was able to get out of my driveway, up an down mountain roads and all.

Why would you lift a 2wd?

Same reason you would a 4x... Ground clearance, tire clearance, building a pre-runner. Never get why people always see something wrong with modding a 2wd for off-road.

Well I guess I just don't get it because I lifted my xj and yota to help clear tires for trails. And even then, our cherokee has a 4 inch lift and we are going to put 35s on it. And I couldn't imagine wheeling with only 2wd..I guess if it was for looks or just logging roads a 2wd would be enough.
