Well the only issue I see with the design of a rock slider that mounts off of the frame and extends out to the sides like that is that once you put the weight of the jeep on them they will bend unless your using some .250 wall tube or better. I have never personally built a set for a GC but I have on other rigs for some customers and ushually if your a mid to hardcore wheeler I would say the best way is to mount them to your frame then get a section of angle iron and bolt that to the rocker so you have 2 points of support. If your just going for the look like 75% of the " off roaders" in CALI then hell you could zip tie them on and they would last a few years.... Good luck

Thanks for the pictures! I think I'll do the same thing to mine but use round tubing instead. And thanks for the tip!

There it is the right way to do it. When your sliders are part of the body they wont bend. Getting close to doing mine this way. He didn't show picks but when I do mine I plane to weld cross bars to the reinforced frame. If that bends I should be dead.

Heres a set i made up in a weekend.
I used 1.75" dia. .25 wall tube for the mounts and the rock slider tube. (bottom most tube). For the outer tree rub rail i used 1.25 dia. 3/16" wall. I can put a jack on either tube and lift one whole side off the ground so both tires are inthe air an it doesnt move one inch.
