Default Front uniframe rail crumpled

Well I wasn't going to post about this because I am pretty upset/ashamed/embarrassed to have this happen but the other day I was running late to my high school graduation practice ceremony and was going a little too fast and ended up rear ending a suburban. Everyone was okay but I was fairly distraught considering this was my first accident and I really love my jeep, anyway to get to the point my passenger side front "frame" rail end is pretty badly crumpled and the core support is all out of whack. I'm pretty sure I can fix those but my real concern is back behind the coil and shock the unibody rail is somewhat crumpled. So I was wondering what you guys think what the right thing to do would be, I'll probably see if I can get a quote to get it fixed on a frame rack tomorrow, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this kind of thing and how they resolved it, I'd rather not do a parts swap onto another jeep unless I can find an MJ, but that's unlikely. I'll try and add some pics tommorrow

I have a feeling it won't be that easy, plus I live in a sort of suburban neighborhood and don't really have any trees that would work for that.

Telephone pole or metal street light pole might work. Wrap the surface to avoid any defacing/destruction charges.

Got pics of the damage? "Somewhat crumpled" is pretty subjective. That's what was designed to crush in an accident. Luckily for everybody involved it worked as it should. Hopefully it's not totaled. Doesn't take much to bend the unibody all out of whack and end up with a total loss.

Oh yeah it's probably totalled, I'm going to go see if I can get some kind of quote for fixing, once I get back I'll upload some pics my phone tries to upload them sideways and upside-down for some reason

If an insurance total try and keep your old one they won't charge much if you have full coverage. You have a lot of parts listed in your user CP to transfer over to another XJ the ins. won't pay for anyway.

If you have a chance look for a 97-99 all parts should swap over.

Thanks for all the replies, the guy at the collision place said approximately $250 to pull the frame back straight only going off of a couple pictures though, I thought that sounded like a very good price. I'll try and get those pics uploaded soon computers/technology aren't exactly my specialty.

No not all that bad you can fix that not totaled for sure if you do a lot of the labor and used parts.

Yeah I'm getting the frame pulled at a shop and then fixing the rest myself with junkyard parts most likely, I think I overreacted a little about the extent of the damage. I'll build her back up and better, might try to tackle the WJ knuckle and brake swap while I'm at it to make sure this never happens again.

Yeah, I didn't really see too much improvement over stock as far as stopping power, the brakes are smoother feeling though
