Yea it's actually about the right deal and to not have to get it yourself is nice .
I think the OP was looking for a rear bumper and tire carrier. That's what I wanted to see. Those are front bumper mounts.

As for the hardware, yes, HD or Lowes will be $30 easy and you'll get them in nice little individual baggies. TSC sells it by the pound here and $30 will get you over 6 lbs of hardware in Grade 8. I just did my rear bumper and tire carrier for less than $10 with the 3/4" I used for the hinge pin. If you are a shop buying in bulk it's pennies on the dollar to what we pay at the hardware store.

I really wasn't crying fowl at the cost of the hardware or the powder coat. I was just pointing it out because it would suck to think you were getting it all for $699 and then show up bare steel with nothing to mount it with. I totally get selling it bare or giving the option to have a receiver or not but selling it without the hardware is just odd to me. Just my opinion.

I know a lot of time and expertise goes into these things, so I don't think pricing is out of line, just hard to swallow in these harsh economic times.

I had been saving to pay taxs this year and they didn't hit me as hard as I had planned so I had a little extra.

Not's not too bad considering tax returns and that each bumper is made by hand. I was told about a month when I called them for a front bumper with a brush guard, sadly money isn't up for a bumper at the moment.

I agree that would be 5 weeks from order to ship date not bad at all. Assuming it does ship on the given date. I know im still not ready to install it but I can't wait to check it out. I hope the finish survives the handling during shipping.

Hope you get it man... Kinda sounds like one of those horror stories in the making I warned ya about . I hope you get it soon and If not, don't let them drag you around forever. Take action if they miss another date. I don't know how you paid but PayPal is 30 days... Most cards/banks have a limit too. I got the smittybuilt one complete with all mounting hardware, hi-lift mount, Jerry can holder, quarter panel armor etc. For700$ shipped ocf EBay and got it in like two days!

I don't care if its mom/pop or not. Lying multiple times wouldn't be acceptable for me. Easy enough to say "oh we are stacked up because I only work a couple hours a day but it will get to ya..thanks for your understanding" VS saying it will ship and then never ship it.

Sorry to hear it's going this way man. Hope it gets straightened out soon. I hate getting the run around no matter what it is. Like Ianf406 said, it would be better to tell me your slammed and can't guarantee anything than to keep missing dates.
