Look at the front caliper there will be the hose and IF it has abs there will be a second wire looking piece that will mount to a sensor at the center of the hub

Or you could go somewhere SAFE that has a slippery spot (if its snowy/icy where you are) or in a gravel parking lot, bet up to about 15-20 and slam on the brakes. If you have abs you will most likely feel teh peddle pulse under your foot, and there will be minimal skidding. If you do not have abs all your brakes will lock up and you will SKID to a stop...

Or you could just pop the hood, look at/by the master cylinder....and see if it has the abs controller next to or connected to it......

nope does not appear to have ABS

Edit: The two wires you see are for the pressure differential switch......and the unit youre looking at is the "combination" valve....I use the "" marks due to the many names people use for brake valves lol, thought i would just add that in....

heres a link to one that does have an abs unit

http://fototime.com/F7AB55BA5C51EE9/standard.jpg ....by far the easiest way to check haha

If you have a Dana 35, you COULD have ABS. If you have a Chrysler 8.25, you do not have ABS.

If the light doesn't turn on when you turn the key on *bulb test* then either it doesn't have ABS, the ABS is faulty *unlikely to make the bulb not illuminate* or the bulb has been removed by someone.

look under the hood in the fuse box and see if there is a abs fuse hookup. no fuse and female plug in for it = no abs.
