Hey Cherokee Owners,

I ordered and paid for a light bar for my 99 Cherokee XJ last week, and emailed Mark from Detours USA to make sure he got my payment through Paypal. It said it went through on my end so Im assuming he got it.

Anyways, I have emailed him many times to see when my light bar will be ready and when it will be shipped out, and I have not heard back from him at all. Its been over a week now, and Im sick and tired of waiting.

Anyone know him, or anybody else had a problem like this with Detours USA?

Any help would be appreciated

First I have heard of this normally there are a very dependable company. Hopefully it works out for ya.

Yeah I heard the same, thats why I ordered through them.

I hope it works out too, got some off roading coming up, and wouldnt mind getting my light bar installed by then.

Which product did you buy? I thought the light bar was discontinued?

I checked their website, and emailed him and he said they still make the light bars for the front bumper.

So I ordered one.

I have a backbone that I ordered from him. Since he is not a huge operation he does not keep them made up so when I ordered it he had to make it. I do no know if that is the case with the light bar or not. Try and call him and see what he says. He is a super nice guy and seems to actually care about his customers. Good luck with it and I hope it works out for you.

I have heard nothing but amazing things all over the place. He is a busy guy keeping up with work. I have talked to him a couple times and he told me he doesnt even get a chance to check the internet all the time and especially respond back to everyone right away. I wouldnt worry to much yet. Give him some time.

I spoke to mark late last week and he told me that he was going on vacation this week.

I got an email from his last night, and he said he was on vacation for a week and that my light bar will be shipped out next week.

Detours is a great company but everyone deserves to take a vacation. I think it is a one or two man operation. So they may get it to you as soon as they return.
