Well im about to start my engine stroke and turbo build which means my drivetrain will be finished this spring! which also means i can get started on visuals, so my question is im about to paint my entire jeep gloss black (yes i have painting exp.) but will a gallon of this product cover my jeep, anybody have experience with painting their jeep with something other than rattle cans? how much did it take,

Yes, it will paint it as long as you're not including door jambs, under hood, etc. Is there any reason you're wanting to use acrylic enamel? You should really consider a slight upgrade to an acrylic urethane with a hardner instead. It's much more chemical resistant and dries faster and harder.

If that's the case just go through all the left over good quality paint and mix them together to make a gal or so to paint it, could be really sharp color and do it all.

I'd at least try to use similar shades. Everything together might just equal some crap looking brown.
Nice shop if they let you have the leftovers - shop I used to deal with kept everything and had a giant wall of spinner things. Apparently fender benders they could use the perfectly good leftover paint from some larger job - and I'm sure still bill the insurance co for the paint on the new project.
If they have some PJP Fern Green, send it my way

A gallon is plenty, as long as you use a fresh roller.
Really though, only mix like types of paint. Don't mix enamel with urethane.
Do a painters pallet first, mix only spoonfulls together to see the colour results.
Add the correct reducer to thin enough for spray. Filter the paint prior to loading the spray gun, or you will jam the nozzle in middle of the spray job.
Light coats, even and smooth passes.
Ask experienced painters for tips, listen to advice, apply what makes sense to your job. There will be flaws, but you will have the pride of doing it yourself!

You know the way to do it.
What's the new welder.
New tools are always cool!
I went 2x6 on the rocker tube. In hindsite, I'd go 2x8 next time. Give a better ledge to tie tube fender flare onto, and a little more stick out for door protection when rubbing trees.
