Actually I do, and it works great. I can chit chat with my buddies on the streets or on the trails all day long while we're driving together and it's clear as day.

I was speaking of the HF gear and SSB as it degrades the signal and the range of station worked.

I wired my junk to a dedicated auxiliary harness. CB is grounded to battery.
I have no cell phone.

Steve I don't know much but I do FCC Testing for Amateur Radio Licensing and teach class's on this kind of material, how well at times I don't know.

CB's are touchy. For mine I ran the positive directly to the battery and grounded it under the dash. The coax cable is also something you need to think about. What kind of antenna are you planning on using? I think the antenna is MUCH more important than the radio.

I'm not even sure about the antenna. It's just an old one I ripped off of an old yj
