Default bronco axles?

i know a guy that has some bronco axles and he said he would give me a hell of a deal on them but i dont know anything about swaping axles. im not worried about the fab part of it just wondering if they are good alxes? will i need new drive lines? i dont know what year or what kind of bronco there from but they look way beefier then the stock stuff and they have the lock things on the front hubs and he said they are the ones that people usually put under cherokees. he was gona put them under his till he wrecked it.

dunno which ones hes got specifically, but ford rear ends are good. the ford 9" is quality. ford also has an 8.8 that is good to go... find out which one it is and then do a thread search as someone else has def had this same question.. i would like to see a 9" on mine!

depends on the year of the axles if the front is really a "good" one.

rear is most likely a 9 inch.

and yes on new drivelines.

i just finished swapping axles from a 75 ford f-100.

Early Broncos had a Dana 30 front then later went to a Dana 44. They went full size in 78 then in 80 swapped over to the TTB front axle, which is Fords early version of IFS. Most 78-79 have cast wedges and unless you plan on using or modifing the factory radius arms pass on them.
