best engine performance mods
i haven't had my jeep grand cherokee for long but ive already done a few modifications to such as an intake, better plugs, and exhaust. i was wondering what other people have done to increase the power of there engines such as intake manifolds and throttle bodies. feel free to post any links to any performance parts you have found. and remember

well what engine do u have? the 4.0 or the 5.2?
the only way to get alot more power is to stroke it.
but also regearing, it wont give you more power but depending on the gears it will give you more power at the rear wheels.

Engine: 4.6L I6(building 302), Stock 219,000miles 4.0L (Building NOW)
look into dodge ram performance when it comes to buildingyour V-8 engines. Cam's, crank's, piston's, rod's all the goodies. And you can get alot of power out of a motor withOUT stroking it. lol

Two things for the 5.2 aka 318.
Mild camshaft and headers and exhaust.
Should be good for an easy extra 50HP.
Do not get wild with the cam your fuel injection will not like it, and
it tends to move the power band up in the RPM range so then you
need more work, like a stall convertor and lower gears.
IF you want to get even more involved, aftermarket heads and
larger injectors.

Diesel: True CAI(Snorkel/Cowl), exhaust, Bored TB, Plugs and injectors. Yield about 15hp.
Its not too easy to get more power out of the 4.0. Stroke it.
