32" requires Mods.
Hey fellas, need help with this mod. I have a 2000 Jeep XJ, just purchased a 4" Old Man Emu lift and some take offs from a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I was informed yesterday I might need bigger gears to compensate the bigger wheels and lift. Same guy told me I should look into getting an intercoller added as well. Anyone have these mods? If so can someone recommend brand and size gears? I'll be doing minimal off roaring and the Jeep will be my daily driver FYI....

I might be spelling that wrong, my bad. My guy said that when he added bigger tires, and replaced both his numbers, his Jeep weight was too much for his transmission to haul so it over heated a lot. He then added an intercooler to the radiator to cool the tranny fluid a lot more. I'm new tho this off roading world so I figured I ask on here before I spend the $$.

If you enjoy driving like gradma and frequenting gas stations, and do not drive up any hills, than 32"s will be ok on stock gears. But the motor and tranny will not like it.

32s aren't a huge jump, i was running 31s with stock 3.55s and could cruise the freeway at 80, easily could get it over a 100 on flat ground. everyone is right, hills kinda suck you'll be downshifting a lot. But **** now im on 35s and 3.55s it terribly slow lol.
