I have just purchased a 2015 Cherokee Limited with active drive 2.


We drove a silver limited and loved it but my wife wanted black so the dealer had to bring one in from another dealer. The one we test drove had the active drive 1.


The one that was delivered had the 2 - I thought it looked a little higher off of the ground than the one with AD1.


I went back the next day and measured 6 different Cherokee's with the AD1 and the one we have is an inch higher at the top of the wheel wells, an 1 1/4 at the front between the tires and 1 1/2 at the back.


Is the normal for the AD2 or did we get a one off?!

I'm new to this forum and am in the process of negotiating for a Cherokee. Two possible vehicles both had ADII. The sticker listed "off road suspension" as part of the package, so I did a bit of research. The ADII has slightly stiffer suspension and does sit about an inch higher. I consider that a positive.
