They do alright if you drop em down to about 3-4 lbs of air and stay perfect straight as you climb the rock. If you get sideways though youre done for. The biggest plus is just that they sound so badass drivin down the road, especially with the doors off

This is my first set of boggers. The other day i took it up the road and back just to see how they rode and to make sure none of the wheels were warped and i love the sound of em .. What gets me though, my jeep has all stock suspension, with trimmed fenders, i can drive it with these 35x14.50 boggers on it, only way they rub is if i turn em deep. Now ive got better sense then to take it to the woods like it sets, too bad i cant or i would have last night! lol.. im gettin to anxious to get the lift under it and get it woods worthy. But its like a fine wine, it takes time. Oh and TennesseeXJ, got any pic of your XJ on the Iroks? also you still runnin the 10" wheels?

Was that question for me? Those iroks are 37's. Ive only got 4.10's but thats only because I didnt want to waste any money on the 30/8.8 since Ive got a 44 and a 9" sittin in my garage. I'll be puttin 5.13's and spools in those

Thanks man. Its got around 6" of lift in the front and 5" in the rear. I'm hoping to drop the front back down to 4" once I get the full width axles under it.

aluminum wheels are actually stronger than steel wheels. once i get my spacers in ill be running some tj canyons on my xj. they look alot classier and i only got the cragars so i could run my 33s. im on 34s on 5" of lift and im considering running 35s once my tires go bald.

True but if you come down hard on a rock or something they'll crack whereas a steel wheel will bend and can easily be repaired with a BFH, not to mention steel wheels are simply cheaper so if you do manage to get one fubar, then youre not out that much $$$. Just something to consider although my next wheels will probably be aluminum

Steel wheels are often lighter due to thin (but strong) consruction..
Steel wheels bend, aluminum wheels bend and crack..
steel wheels cost $40-$80/ea aluminum wheels are $100-300/ea

I prefer steel

i definitly agree with you guys on that, but i can get rims free so i guess im in a different boat hahahha didnt know that smiley existed. i would agree that in the long run steels are cheaper, but after my last trip up to the iron range, i bent 2 of my cragars and i dont even know how. i did some rock crawling but nothing where i was landing on rocks..i dunno i was in some tough situations were i had to bump the rocks and im probably sure that did it but i wouldve assumed i wouldve blown the bead on the tire before a wheel would bend since i was running like 10psi but it was only my 3rd time wheeling so i dunno.
just my 2 cents
