Just want to say thanks for showing the HIDs in the HF lights. I was just wondering iwhat the light pattern might look like the other day, since I just put a pair on my ZJ's A pillars. Any pic showing down the road with HIDs?

I really don't have the ability to take a picture of high enough quality to really show the pattern. However, before I converted them I plugged one of the HF lights into my battery to see what it looked like. The HID's are definitely brighter and more powerful. The beam pattern isn't as focused as a lens designed for HIDs but you really can beat what you get for the price. Overall, its a definite improvement over the halogen bulbs. Hope this helps. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know

Will the HIDs be more spread out?

This is exactly what I planned on doing with mine! I am a fan of the straight edge racks as the Jeep is a box anyways lol

You did an awesome job and product looks great! Nice work!

Sorry it took longer than I though to get the jeep rolling. It still had wet paint on it so I didn't want to pull it out of the barn so it just pushed it as far back as I had room. Consequently, this picture is from more like 15' but you'll get the idea.

That light spreads a bit more than I hoped. Might consider them though, for the front bumper. How bad is the glare to look through? Thanks for the pic!

Oh I didn't read his whole post :P though he meant off the bumper. The glare isn't to bad, It lights up the hood but since I have a darker color it isn't that bad.

I had to move my light bar back further when I had one because of the glare. It can be bad lol.
