Hey, its been a little over a year so since my HF mig welder got stolen from my garage, and I'm looking into another one finally. Does anybody have any experience or opinions about "drico group" welders?
I'm looking into this welder... Drico 150a mig/arc welder
At its price point it seems like an almost too good to be worth the money kind of deal. Amazon has mostly good reviews on it, but I can't seem to find very many reviews in general...
Anybody have any thoughts or opinions on it before I potentially pull the trigger?
Also, they have another welder with basically the exact same specs with the exception of the voltage being just slightly higher. slightly higher V link
Any pros or cons between the two? The voltage difference seems like its small enough that there isn't going to be any difference between the two.
Look forward to your opinions!

I've heard good things about many of the Everlast or AHP welders. They are some of the more reputable Chinese welder manufacturers.

One thing I have been really delaying for a long time was upgrading the grounding cable on my welder.
I always have done this on all other welders I owned previously... most of the time factory cables are copper plated aluminum or too thin, hell sometimes both even.
I usually upgrade it to next size bigger with pure copper cable for better flow of electrons.
Anyway I own a millermatic 211 and do not ask me why I didn't do it sooner. I think either I didn't make time or I completely forgot about it.
I changed the factory 4 gauge cable out to 2 gauge and made it match the box... because blue.

I put a Tweco ground clamp on my Hobart 210 (similar unit). I was surprised the wire was pure copper. I think I might have some 2 AWG laying around though!

how do yall like the 211?
thinking of getting one when i buy a house that i can justify putting 220v in
just have my hobart handler 140 right now and that does really well to 1/8"

I have the older style mm211. Bought it about 6 years ago. Having the ability to run on 120v or 240v is great. I've also had it out and ran it off a generator, it performed great that way too. I was new to welding when I bought it and having the automatic feature is great but also having the standard settings is nice if you want to get it dialed in correctly.
