It will work will have to make two slits like on the middle because the unibody is not perfect flat I myself would not drill holes just weld but that's on you

Yea there's that little section behind the cross member that it slants an then flattens out again. But ya think that would do the trick??

and.also, is it true your.not supposed to do a solid bead on the unibody frame? Like id have to break my bead up around the angle iron into like 2" sections?

It will work and yes not a hole long bead stich weld it you can drill holes in angle and fill with weld too

What is the reasoning behind nite.being able to do a regular long bead though?

Uni body too thin puts too much heat in turn make it bertie
