best thing you can do is go over to pirate4x4.com since they are more of the hardcore wheelers and deal with full widths, cages and just HARD core wheeling.
and use google images.
best of luck

^^^ agreed.... Big front bumpers, big sliders, big rear bumpers, big roof racks, then just have at it with your welds.

I should have noted that cage for just under $600 is for a 4 door. The basic 2 door version is just under $520.

Ok Since I own 2 rigs with cages, I can give some advice. If you dont have the tools to bend your own cage I suggest you look into a prebent, or a one off custom on your rig.
There are a few vendors selling prebuilt XJ cages only problem being is that you have to be a decnt fab guy to install them. By that I mean you still might have to notch the tubes, and you have to be a pretty good welder to weld the cage up.
A custom cage will run as much as you want to spend. It is best to have your seat mounts, safety harness mounts all fabbed into your cage. Remember triangulation, and gussets are your friend when building a cage.

Your design looks very confining... Your lower front bar will be a knee knocker. Also looks like your a pillar bars are in a lot. Is there any reason why you didnt build seat mounts into the cage? Also where is your x-bracing? I am not hating. just asking.
