rocker panel removal and installation of rock sliders?

rocker panel removal and installation of rock sliders?
I have a 2001 cherokee. I have some rock rash on my passenger side. So I plan on removing the rockers and fabricate my own rock sliders. If anyone has pics and info that I will need please let me know.

Yes. They rnt hooked up anything yet. Got some other things to do bfore I get my hands on a compressor.
But I got it set up to feed the air in from under/behind the rear seat, and got a 90° with an air coupling in the b pillars behind the front doors.
You can c the threads from the street 90 in that pic.
Also the doors will need to b trimmed up. How much depends on how high you put the rockers. After mine got trimmed, I ran to Lowes and pick up some door sweeps to squeegee any mud off that builds up on top of the rocker so it dont cake up on the back of my leg when entering our exciting the jeep

You laugh, but yes. Every tool I built the jeep with, rides with me expect for a grinder and a welder... for now. I carry enough tools, I can treat the jeep down to almost nothing but a pile of parts... on the trail.
