if you're bending pipe, you want a pipe bender, one from harbor freight.
if you're bending tube, you want a tube bender, one from pro-tools.
you can't bend one with the other, it just won't work.

also, pipe is for poop.
tube is for your jeep.

Take a piece if your pipe down to your local tool store and see if it fits one of the mandrels on their pipe bender. They are about $75

i have to argue that to a extent. even on pro-tools web site like you recommended they say their bender with do both tube and pipe. its the dies that are different. one is machined for O.D. and one is machined for I.D. sizes. so on that note you can get one bender for both apps. just have to have different sets of dies.

the one on harbor freight "says" it will do 5/8 solid square or solid round and up to 3" but it dont say tube or pipe. with the price im assuming its pipe like exhaust type of stuff. you could probable get it to work on tube it just wont fit as tight in the dies because Tube is measured by O.D. and Pipe is measured I.D.

now if you have a tube bender you wont be able to bend pipe cause the pipe wont fit inside the dies it will be too big

that's right, pipe is measured by inner diameter, cause stuff usually flows through it. and tube is measured by outer diameter.

so yeah, a 2 inch pipe will usually be larger than a 2 inch tube.
so if you put a piece of tube in a pipe bender, you'll just end up kinking it.

but yeah, technically the difference is the dies.

You do not want a pipe bender. A tubing bender is the only way to go. If you try to use a pipe bender your TUBE will kink.

D.O.M is is tubing
HREW is tubing.
Black iron (used for gas and water lines) is PIPE.

This is the TUBE BENDER that I use.

Why would you want to use a weak material for anything on your rig? Pipe is not strong enough for anything other than poop.

There's lots of ways to make your own bender but you will still be buying dies. I got my protools 105HD from keith flux on pirate for pretty cheap comparativly.

You don't wanna mess with tube but yet you said rollcage lol.
You realize pipe is heavier than tube also.

Your local metal yard should have it, can order it, or point you in the right direction.

First I'd suggest researching DOM, HREW, and pipe. Structurally you want DOM, pipe is fine for bumpers and stuff but it does weigh more.
