Default my new toy, got some idead, need some input

ok i have recently aquired a 1997 jeep cherokee sport. thanks to some much needed help very recently from some of you guys here, the tech section, has enabled me to make this beast run and drive again. I only paid $200 for it, and its an open page. the only thing ive started yet is the front bumper. im lookin for any input as far as ideas of things i can build, slight modifications to make it perform better, anything you guys can come up with il listen to and consider. i know as of right now a lift kit is out of the question due to a lack of $, but i work at a metal factory, and can build anything i want on break and after hours. i would like to do up a set of rock sliders, and a rear bumper, to kinda match the look of the front one im building. when i figure out how to post pictures within threads il put a picture of that up so you guys can see what ive started. and i also want to come up with some kind of a roof rack with a spare tire carrier on it. eventualy, replate the entire side of the truck with heavier plate, and a slight, not major, but slight exo-cage. so any idead regaurding the modifications to the exterior of an xj, anything you thought might have been cool , but ahvent seen done yet. please im all ears. thanks guys

For the rear bumper, have a look in the thread in my signature....
BTW, do you have access to aluminium plates?
