I think the metal cost me around $160 (still have a bunch left over), roll of flux core wire $12, 2 cans primer $10, 2 cans bedliner spray $18.

So roughly $200. I was going to buy some AJs Offroad Armor ones but by the time they added shipping on it was going to cost me $350-360 shipped to my door.

I have a welder so I might as well use it right? I need to get a tube bender though.

You know how this Jeep stuff is? Trial and error! If this is a problem or becomes a problem I will just add some pieces on the open ends angled back into the 2x3 and close off the openings.

I don't think it will be an issue though.
