uh... them two above are kinda ugly... lol... and what alot of people do and what im planning is to tie the cage into he front and rear bumpers along with the rock sliders... they have strong mounting points already and then ill probly drop acouple supports down to the frame in the center on plates over the frame and then plates underneith the frame bolted together... but frame stiffners are still gonna be a good thing to have...
im mad... i would a dana 30 last night wit 4.88's and abunch of other add ons for only $200 but he wrote back and said it was off a leaf spring jeep... dang it!

Really? It's been a few months since I lost my xj but I don't remember the unibody rails being that tall. 3 or 4 inches at most. Which is about the size of a common body lift. I may be wrong, but I didn't think it would sit that high. More on topic, anyone have any pics of a good chop job on a wj?

i stacked frames with a ramcharger and a powerwagon once... lol... but i should have just swapped the D60 front and rear in the ramcharger and swapped the 360 and 727 in for the 318 that was blown and the slipping tranny... instead i just scrapped the whole thing... yes... even the axles and everything ran fine... im an idiot... i know...

Makes sense. I wasn't factoring in the wrangler frame. Your right, it would take a fair amount of custom panel fab to make it look clean.
