Hey all, n00b here (so n00b I haven't even gotten my XJ yet..still trying to get the $$$ for one). Anyhoo I am wondering if there is enough space behind the panels in the rear storage area to justify taking the time of making hatches to make access to it easier? I know this is a pseudo-common mod in FJ60/62 Land Cruisers. Again just curious and if there is a thread on it already I apologise for posting in here.

Yeah I figure it would make the most sense to utilize the space. When I go home for spring break in a week i'm planning on trying to get it done in my dad's FJ60..and the XJ and FJ60 seem to have a very similar interior layout so I figure why not try on an XJ...

I fixed my tranny mount issue after intstalling the RC lift. I have a 5 spd. Turns out it's shorter than the auto.
