Looks good - how much weight have you put on it so far?[/QUOTE]

Thanks, Probably have about 100 lbs or so in the rack when on the trail. I carry my ice chest and flip top box full of spare parts/trail goodies. It's mounted to the ammo can and the can is bolted to the box through the floor. Seems pretty solid so far.

thinking of putting 2014 Wrangler pumpers on my 96 xj. Not for good just to kinda fill in the spot for now. I will have to cut the front one a lil. I'll cut out apart of the middle so I keep the ends nice.

How far over the back seat does it stick? I want to do this, but don't want to kill a rear seat passenger when I hit a bump

The top of the jack sits about 2-3" behind the the grab handle above the door and is actually rubbing that trim piece. It barely comes over the seat. I'm 6'2" and can sit back there without getting clunked.

The piece the jack is bolted to is 2" C channel, 14" long. I ran 1/2" bolts through w/ nuts. The jack rest on the nuts and is held in place with the wing nuts. It doesn't move up and down at all. I also replaced the original screws holding the stock mount to the floor with 1 1/2" x 1/4" bolts.

I really like what you did, it looks like it works really well.
