next mod will be to make a connection block that I can hook all my power window and door stuff to so I can just disconnect that, and then just unbolt my door and go play. Gonna get started on that Sunday. Any suggestions???

How did you secure the pipe to the air box or did you have a cold air intake?

Use Grand Cherokee connectors.

I have no idea. If want 'em its probably worth the >half hour each door to do it. I just have mine set up with male/female connectors.

I cut a hole in the airbox and used some weatherstripping you can get from lowes to create a watertight seal with the PVC in the airbox. It is routed under the airbox so the air still has to go through the filter. But it works great, I can really tell a difference and you can even hear it sucking some nice clean cool air. And as far as the doors go, I was just going to to get bullet connectors for r/c cars or just see if I could find a connection block and solder the wires. Gonna get that done this weekend. And I'm trying to figure out a way to make the doors easily removable. And how heavy are the doors. I want to be able to take them on and off by myself.

If I were him I would get one of those knock off brand air filters you can get at Pep-boys and autozone.

yeah, I'm on that. I didn't think about that until I was done. But I'm prolly gonna just add a little section of pipe about 4" long with a 90' on the end to keep it pointing down, but it works GREAT!!!

The ones I found that worked are from a ZJ (used 94 specifically, but should all be the same up till 98..).

https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/wh...rs-off-111706/

*you can use a passenger ZJ harness for your passenger side, but need to have a driver's ZJ harness for the driver's XJ. I only used both driver's side as the ZJ I robbed them from had the passenger door caved in but an extra driver's door leaning against it.. *

And yes, you will have to make the holes in the door jamb a little ****** to fit the connector through

Got a question, I have been thinking about getting some door hinges like the newer wranglers have. Has anyone done this before or would it even be possible to do? I was also thinking of getting some mirrors off one and attaching them to the fenders so I would still have rear view mirrors with the doors off.

Theres a thread about it, I can't find or link it from my phone, basically it involves cutting the bottom part of the hinge off but leaving the peg intact, then drilling a hole for a pin.
