armor is Ares, but I ordered them with uncut boxes so I could do my own lights. ended up finding these on amazon for fairly cheap. I like them because they're boxy like the xj, and they are super thin surface mounts. 2 holes for mounting screws, 1 hole in the center for the wires.

Amazon.com: Maxxima M42206R Red LED Stop/Tail/Turn Light: Automotive
that's the running/brake light, and the turn and reverse come from them too

Just read all 21 pages. WOW! I don't own an XJ right now, but I am in search of one. Your ingenuity really inspired me. Love how you took the vehicle and truly made it into your own. I can't wait to start on mine soon!

This is amazing - the only reason i hate this thread is because it makes me go spend money on doing things to my jeep!
I've been wanting to do something like those usb ports in the back - how did you actually wire those all the way back there? also, i might have missed it, what usb ports are you using for those, just one of the little ones from radioshack or something similar?

Super nice build. I was weary of the dash at first, but I like where it's going, now. Is there any reason you haven't added any gauges to the upper panel, behind the steering wheel? Is the angle too steep, or what?

Wow the custom work on this thing is amazing, did you happen to make that shifter handle too or did you pick it up somewhere? If so would you mind letting me know, thanks

(assuming uber still around lol) how did you mount that rear cargo shelving to the bed. Maybe someone would have an idea? Would you have to drill holes and put in bolts or something?
