Cut my fenders and fender flares
Was tired of rubbing the tires, so.....here they are. First 2 pics are the driver side, un-cut.
Now I can be completely flexed out without rubbing. Just need my locker, but ready to go wheeling until then.

And that is going to make you not rub anymore? why not take any out of the fender as well. i guess you don't rub that bad then.

Like I said in the title...cut my FENDERS & fender flares. (body) 2" off the front and back of the fender and 1 1/2" off the top. And about 1 1/4" off the fender flares.

most people cut and relocate them up higher so the tire does not rub anymore.
but yours still looks stock that is nice i guess.... if they don't run anymore then good for you.

Took the flares off and cut them. The flares are not bolted on with the original brackets. That whole section of the flare, where the factory brackets clamped it, was cut off. I drilled new holes through the flare and in the fender. I used carriage bolts to hold the new trimmed flare in the stock location. I put the flare in position, used a sharpie, and outlined the inside of the trimmed flare, then removed the flare and cut everything out. I pulled the truck up onto a pile of logs, to flex it out and turned wheel lock to wheel lock, and anything that had touched the tire was cut off.
I cut the outside of the fender flare, the last inch that is vertical. Leaving only the 45 that comes off the flare.
Thank you! I like the flares in their original place.

love the way this looks, just a few questions..what brand rims are those and what size tires are you running? Not really wanting to go flareless and i am not a fan of the bushwackers or any other flare..i have seen what happens to bushwackers after one GOOD wheeling trip and i am not about to spend that kinda money on something to have them ripped off my jeep!

Thanks all!
I actually wanted the bushwackers, but just can't afford that, so just decided to mod what I had.
The rims are 15x8 Eagle Alloys...I bought 'em from summitracing. The tires are nexen 31x10.50 15 MTs. $105.95 each.

Nice, clean mod. The fact that nobody can even tell its been altered by looking at it is a credit to you. Any idiot can go on the attack with a sawzall or die grinder and just start hacking the crap outta their rig, you did it right and it looks awesome! Great job!
