The one I bought came with a tube and on the tube was two fittings. One fitting was for the breather on the front of the valve cover, the other was for the line on the back of the valve cover. When I hooked them up my oil pressure red lined and oil started leaking from just about every gasket it could. I didn't understand it so I traded it for a spare rear axle.

Hello, I'm new to this and drive a 2000 XJ Classic, and currently in the process of adding a new cone. Could you please specify as to how you cut the line coming from the valve cover, and kept its functionality?
